At Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School, we nurture children’s potential in a vibrant, co-educational, inclusive environment for ages 4 to 11. Vision & Values
At RPPS, our primary aim is to provide a holistic education, with a balanced focus on a child’s intellectual, moral, physical, creative and emotional development. The education we deliver nurtures, challenges and inspires our children so that they are fully equipped for the next stage in their educational journey and go on to develop a lifelong love of learning.
High expectations underpin our ethos and values. Our classrooms are mistake-friendly environments, and we encourage the children to embrace challenge and respond positively to feedback. We place a high emphasis on Personal, Social and Emotional Development, and children learn from an early age to self-regulate their behaviour, to treat others with kindness and compassion, and to value and celebrate diversity.

Facilities at a glance
RPPS has specialist on-site facilities including a multi-purpose School Hall, Library, Music Suite, Art Studio and Science Laboratory. Additional facilities include a gymnasium, ICT suite and a large outdoor playground space.
Our Library
Pupils can enjoy our library during timetabled lessons and in their free time. There is a diverse selection of reading material to suit every taste and interest from books about the Universe to stories about the aliens that might live in it…
Our Assembly Hall
A large space at the heart of the school where we meet regularly during the week as a school. It is also a brilliant location in which to stage plays, host visiting speakers and perform music.
Our Playground
In the centre of the school lies a large playground. It has markings and equipment for games and plenty of space to run around in during break.
